To enhance a patient’s ability through quality therapy services or an athlete’s level of performance in any sporting arena, through quality education, cutting edge sports specific training, and top of the line training equipment and staff. | HOW IT ALL BEGAN... Dave Meers and Tom Williams started Excel in 1998.
They conceived the idea of a PT and performance-training center. It was the week before Thanksgiving.
After the holiday Dave called Tom and said he was ready to move forward. Excel opened that July in O'Fallon and has moved forward since that time. In 2002, Chuck McDonnell joined Excel and the following year Steve Thro and Julia Kellogg also joined the partnership. Since the beginning Excel has continuously grown from one to six clinics.
