Dave
Meers, PT, CSCS
Born and raised in St. Charles. 1987 graduate of St. Charles West High School. 1991 graduate of Maryville University in St. Louis County with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
He played collegiate baseball and basketball. 14 years working in outpatient orthopedic clinics in St. Charles County. He opened Excel with Tom Williams in 1998, at the O'Fallon clinic. He earned his CSCS specialty certification in 2000. He is also McKenzie certified and trained in courses A-D. Dave and his wife Stacey live in St. Peters with their 3 children.
Steve Thro, PT
Steve is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia and has worked in the St. Charles County for 18 years, with 7 of those years being in O'Fallon. Steve is well versed in all areas of orthopedic physical therapy, and specializes in the treatment of shoulder injuries with an emphasis on throwing injuries.
He has extensive training in shoulder rehab, and has worked with major league players, minor league players, and young players of all ages, and is well versed in throwing mechanics. He also has training in treating golfers and the swing mechanics that cause injury. Steve is working as the director of our Winghaven clinic. | Tom Williams, MSE, CSCS
Graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BSE in Exercise Science and Special Education and a MSE in Secondary School Administration.
Tom is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has worked with all levels of athletes from little league on up. He has coached football and baseball at both high school and collegiate levels.
He is a co-founder of Excel with Dave Meers. Tom also serves on the board of the O'Fallon YMCA and Calvary Church elder board. Tom and his wife Lisa Williams, DPT have 2 children and live in the St. Charles area.
Chuck McDonnell, PT, CHT
Chuck was born and raised in St. Louis County and graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1979.
Chuck went into private practice in St. Charles in 1984 after five years experience in neurological, general and orthopedic physical therapy.
In 2002 he joined Excel as a partner and is currently practicing in our St. Peters location. He is a generalist with a wide base of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and has as subspecialty in hand therapy since 1992. Chuck lives in St. Charles with his wife Jenny and their six children. | Julia Kellogg, PT, CHT
1983 graduate from Duchesne High School in St. Charles. 1987 graduate of Maryville College -St. Louis with B.S. in physical therapy, cum laude. She played collegiate basketball.
She has been an outpatient orthopedic therapist since 1991 in St. Peters area. She received certification in hand therapy in 1996.
Julia is the Director of the Wentzville Clinic
